Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about certificate verification, security, and how our system works.

Verification Process

To verify a certificate, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Verify Certificate" page
  2. Enter the Certificate ID (found at the bottom of the certificate)
  3. Click "Verify" to check authenticity
  4. View the verification results with certificate details

The Certificate ID is typically a 12-16 character alphanumeric code.

You need the following information to verify a certificate:

  • Certificate ID: Unique identification code
  • Issuance Date: For additional verification
  • Recipient Name: To match against records

Tip: Always verify certificates directly through our official portal to ensure authenticity.

Certificate verification is instant in most cases. Our system processes verification requests in real-time and provides results within seconds. For certificates with special security features or older certificates (issued more than 5 years ago), verification may take up to 24 hours as we cross-reference with archived records.

Security & Privacy

Yes, we take data security and privacy very seriously. Our system implements:

  • End-to-end encryption for all data transmissions
  • GDPR-compliant data handling procedures
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Secure cloud infrastructure with redundant backups
  • Limited data retention policies

We only display verification status and do not share personal details during public verification.

If you suspect a fraudulent certificate, please take the following steps immediately:

  1. Report it through our "Report Fraud" form (available on the verification results page)
  2. Contact our security team at security@nafcons.com
  3. Provide the Certificate ID and any supporting evidence
  4. Do not share the fraudulent certificate publicly

Important: All fraudulent certificate reports are investigated within 48 hours, and legal action may be taken against perpetrators.
